I sat on the beach
Staring out to the open endless horizon
With the sky so high up
That my arms outstretched cannot reach

The clouds float by
Sometimes fast
Sometimes slow
Just like the pace of life

The wind blows
With a little salty scent
Just like life
Should be taken with a grain of salt

The waves splash on the rocks
Spurting up and coming down again
Then foaming and dissolving
But spurting up again
Just like the highs and lows of life


My toes sink into the sand
I like the feel of it...
A certain connection...
Because it makes me feel
Like a part of this world

I wiggle my toes
And the sand falls from them
I lift my feet up
And see a pair of foot prints
At least I changed something in this world

But the waves will soon come
And wipe away every trace of it
Making the sand smooth and new again
Ready for someone else to make their mark in this world

I'm currently super duper addicted to Tim's New Beginning album
EVERY SONG IS SOOOO MEANINGFUL!

I especially love "Liquid"
not because the lyrics has something about my most biased colour ever
nor is it because it has something to do with the sea
but I can relate to the lyrics

Besides....Tim sang the whole song is superb English!!
Not something you hear everyday
