i came across this poem the other day~

emailed to me by one of my nicesstttt friends

Growing Old With You

It all began about 60 years ago,
On a very special summers day,
For two unexpected teenage kids,
Love was about to come their way.

Boy meets girl, things move quick,
Nobody gave their love a chance,
It's been seen a million times before,
Just another hopeless young romance.

But for this couple it was different,
Since day one it was meant to be,
It was that forever fairytale happiness,
The kind you can only see on T.V.

One day she looked at him and asked,
"What is it with your life you'd like to do?"
He gently kissed her forehead and said,
"Sweetheart, I dream to grow old with you"

Smiling because they were so in love,
Suddenly he got down on one knee,
Pulled out a beautiful diamond ring,
And asked "Princess, will you marry me?"

Tears falling from her big brown eyes,
It was a yes as she nodded her head,
And just seven short months later,
These two teenage kids were wed.

They bought a house and settled down,
Got pregnant and gave birth to a little girl,
How is it at just twenty-three years old,
They could have everything in the world.

For fifty years their lives were perfect,
As grandchildren grew the love did too,
But with a simple trip to the doctor,
The future suddenly held a different view.

He was diagnosed with bone cancer,
The doctors didn't give him very long,
He fought with everything he had left,
But at eighty, he wasn't very strong.

As he lay in a hospital bed about to die,
Hand in hand with his best friend and wife,
He said "I want you to know since Nineteen,
You've been my everything, my whole life"

With tears falling from her big brown eyes,
She asked "Did all of your dreams come true?"
He kissed her forehead and with his final breath,
Said "Of course princess, I grew old with you"

reminds me so much of Nicholas Sparks' "The Notebook"

yesh I, Gollum, have acquired the skill of typing on a computer
ALL HAIL EDUCATION!! *crowd cheers*

Assignments this semester are MADD!!!
must all business journalists write in those 'beat around the bush' styles?
for my sanity's sake..we're not doing LAW here people!!

And I thought only lawyers write/type/speak that way
a simple : how are you doing?
could turn into
a complex: I am now by ethics asking you how do you feel currently, not the hours before or the hours subsequent to my question, and I wish to hear your honest answer which is devoid of lies, trickery and tomfoolery. I am also hereby showing my interest in your current well-being by asking this question which I hope you will answer.

We business-interested people are interest in facts and proper opinions...
not blablablabla~~
it makes me think that they have no more ideas and
type in that long-winded manner to increase the word count

THE LIBRARY....

yeahhh the library....i don't get to touch those fiction books there
i sit and do my homework

I'm DETERMINED to deliver my best this semester...
no more playing around...

pray for my sanity and weight please
i'm getting too dependent on ice-cream to get my spirits up
ice-cream's like my ecstasy pill on a cone LOL
i've given up on swimming...it makes me even more tired...

red-eyed in the mornings....

luckily i'm not walking on all fours just yet

I have no idea what to do first these days

There's so many things I want to do...
but there's just too little time.
I think I should really brush up on my time management @_@

I'm always in a rush this semester...
I wake up early everyday to either rush to work or to study/finish homework
After lectures and tutorials, I'm already half conscious...
Some days I still have to go to work to fulfill my compulsory 3 hours
Sometimes I fall asleep with the stamp in my hand xD

YEAH I AM THAT TIRED

PLUS there's no more time to hit Pyramid with Wynnie anymore
There's only one free day for me...Wednesday
Last year and this year's first sem...I was so free I could go everyday
Now.....let's not talk about the present ><

I can't wait for the May holidays...seriously...
I need to be pampered...

The days have been super lame
I feel so lifelessss
Imagine having nightmares with your lecturer scolding you "STUPID STUPID!!"

Not good.....definitely Not Good!

I SERIOUSLY WISH THERE WAS
30 HOURS IN A DAY!!!!!!!!!!

that way I can get everything done...

I'm getting more forgetful these days...
It's like I'm getting amnesia or like Archie says "Elephant brain"
I forgot one of the most important things in my student life
and left it in the college bookshop!!!!
I couldn't sleep the whole night because of that...
Hell was I relieved when the morning came

My Post-It notes are filling my desk frame too...
Reminder for this....reminder for that...
Reminder for when my chicken is expiring...
reminder to take some stuff for my cousin...
I even have a reminder on my phone to watch Invincible Youth on Saturdays
It's amazing I can still remember song lyrics LOL

WHAT HAS BECOME OF MY BRAIN?????!!!!

I personally think...SuJu kidnapped my soul after their concert...
