All England Super Series!!!!
I am currently so damn glad that
I came to my auntie's house this weekend
DAMN GLAD!!!
I was so isolated not knowing that the All England Championship was this weekend!!!
Blame my laziness of not buying the daily newspapers
At least I didn't miss the finals!
The mixed doubles team from Korea took my breath away
both good and bad lah
Good: Ha Jung Eun (gal) WAS SOOOOOO KENG!!!! her strategies are FUH! and her SMASHES are WOW!!
Bad : Ko Jung Hyun (guy) kept making errors and silly mistakes...pity the girl!
too bad the Chinese pair were both superior in experience and speed
Yu Yang can be proclaimed as the top woman mixed doubles player...seriously
She plays like a man!
Dato' Lee Chong Wei tried his best..but I guess his best was not enough..TRY AGAIN!!
He did not smash when he had the chance..don't know why
but i'll give him the benefit of doubt
Lin Dan was in great shape to say the least...he kept smashing away and his rebound skills were O.O
I told my auntie that he had springs in his knees as muscles
Nothing to say about the Women's Doubles...
the finals was between two Chinese teams
and CSI:Miami was on AXN
-iwatchedcsiinsteadofthewomen'sdoubles..kekeke-
and last but not least...MEN'S DOUBLES!
I never knew Fu Hai Feng held the fastest smash record in competition!!!!
332 km/h man!!!!
mad sia!
All in all....
Fu Hai Feng and Cai Yun were in their best form today
the Korean team of Han Sung Hyun and Hwang Ji Man just could not topple them over
no matter how fast and cunning they were
their partnership is still new and green..
more tournaments and championships together would improve their teamwork
Still..Cai Yun - Fu Hai Feng are WOOT!!!!
by far my favourite men's doubles team
oh yeah~ an interesting match was played today also
Wildcard Wang Yi Han of China is a must watch in the future
at 21 years old...unseeded...she actually beat 2nd seed Tine Rasmussen of Denmark!!!
and her errors were minimal and her strategies showed her dominance in the sets
maybe because her coach is the oh-so-famous Zhang Ning
but still!!! she's very cool and calm in the court
unlike a certain girl by the name of Ma Jin who was all over the court
running aimlessly like a lost child
I'm referring to the semi-final match on Saturday -- the mixed doubles match
This match was the worst ever!
Ma Jin was screaming here and there like an amateur
Zheng Bo (her more experienced partner) had to cover her
and his view was constantly blocked by the lost Ma Jin
and she was the one who lost the winning point to the Korean pair
and she was crying so pitifully after the end *no sympathies here*
Zheng Bo must've roasted her after their match (I know I would)
~I shall end my ranting on the All England Championship here. I just had to get it outof my system~
