Heard it for the 1st time on Yvette's blog....
wahhh~ terus hati tertambat <3
something tak berkenaan at all
went to UTAR with my family today
was 2 hours plus drive from BM
i sat in the car and slept all the way there *as usual, teehee*
i'm a terrible traveller...
before you even saw UTAR you would see TESCO XD
not bad eh..got sushi king n redbox oso
i was thinking it would be quite secluded in the middle of a jungle
coz in kampar maaaaa
manalah tahu...
the campus life there would be quite interesting
a development company even built a gated community specially for UTAR and KTAR students man...
imagine living in a 3-storey semi-d for the whole of your uni life
newly built sumore man
free internet of course
most importantly...SWIMMING POOL!!!!!!!!!
it isn't exactly in the housing estate there
opposite in KTAR..open for RM1.50 per entry for the students (yeah..i read a bulletin =)
the taman is Westlakes...coz the ex-mining pool = lake is in the west XD
transport there is like in japan and the european countries
they cycle!!!! XD
nice man!!~~~~~
but got bus and van services oso la...for the lazy ones *cackles*
the courses offered are okay...but no twinning programmes la
they say it's because UTAR is still new...6 years old or smtg
so twinning programmes would be available in plus minus 5 years
so jangan harap want to go overseas when you're doing your degree in UTAR
since the perak campus is still new, the facilities are up-to-date and clean~~~
their chemistry lab no 3 is still under refurbishing
library oso quite condusive
computer services...not bad...DELL mia lo
the only bad part is the holed staircases
you can practically stand underneath and look up when some gals in skirts walk down
and WHOPEE!
so DON'T WEAR SKIRTS AND WALK DOWN THESE STAIRS!!
protect you dignity, gals! XD
if still nak pakai, then use the lifts =P
the cafeteria faces the lake...quite nice scenery to look at while you gorge
i stared at the food menus and prices *must know what i can eat while i'm there kay?*
and surprise surprise!
the rice with ikan taucu is RM5.50!!!!!
ToooooooooooooooooooT man! i can buy 2 cans with that money!
but the western food wan price okay la
breakfast set is RM3 smtg..inclusive of drinks
my bro saw a row of chairs by the sides... "For rejects and outcasts" he said
haiyo~ sooooo pity
My visit to UTAR was more in detail compared to the other campuses that i've been to
still in the process of comtemplating whether to go there anot
since the degree will give me exemption from the first 9 ACCA papers
so i dunhave to faint in my CAT exams XD
other unis' degrees give an exemption of only 6-7 papers =.=
If anyone you know and i know is going there...please inform me!!
dunwanna be one of the outcasts >.<
